Basic Referee Courses in Region 2

Become a certified Referee by taking the Basic Ref course. Reqiurements: 8hour class & test and you can Ref ages U5 thru U12. It is a one time requirement. Help out your team and do it for your kids. Courses available on the following dates and times:

• August 30th 2008 - Hands-On Refresher Course  Saturday from 9:00am to 11:00am (Refreshments served) This is for existing referees who have been out of play for a few months. The COACHES GAMES are over . . . Whew! After over 40 Adult Soccer Games benifiting various AYSO Projects, we have finally ended play and we will start our Inagural Season of the Newly spawned AAL (AYSO Adult League #5043.) We have had a BLAST playing and learning the game from a new perspective... Playing it! It has brought us closer together as a Region and hopefully given us the opportunity to see how our kids feel, while playing the game. This was our intention from the start.

The 2008 season is under way and coaches have been given thier teams and you are seeing teams out and practicing. Please do not panic if you have not heard from your coach. Many of the coaches are on vacation at this time as are many of the players and thier families.

"Joe Ref" is available to all of our Region-2 volunteers who just needs to know why a foul was called or why a Referee decided on a "Non Call"  Joe also helps our current Ref's to better understand The Laws of the Game.

Joe Ref is ready to read you letters and answer questions regarding "The Laws of the Game"
