Volunteer referees are a vital part of Region 2. They ensure that our kids have a safe and fun experience playing soccer. Our games are dependent on all teams providing referees. Please consider helping out your team and the Region 2 soccer program by volunteering as a referee today!!
Team Referee Assignments

7U/8U Divisions - Each team provides 1 referee for their own game. No sign-ups necessary. (7U/8U Referee Guidelines)

Player Equipment Law Changes 2024-2025
For the 2024/2025 year, IFAB has made changes to the Laws of the Game with regards to player equipment: Players are responsible for the size and suitability of their shin guards and the team captain must wear an identifying armband.
These laws changes do not change to how AYSO referees manage player equipment. Referees are still responsible for verifying the suitability of player shin guards and the captain's armband is optional but should be noted on the game card if not present.
