2025 All-Star Season
The All-Star season is run by AYSO Area 1C. Games run from Saturday, January 11th through Sunday, February 9th. Playoffs take place on February 15th and 16th. See Area 1C's website for more details.
There will be a mandatory online referee meeting on Tuesday, January 7th at 7PM.
Referees - please note the differences between Region 2 and Area 1C's rules/procedures:
- ID cards for coaches/players are required and verified by referees during the team check-in.
- Coaches and players without an ID card are not allowed to participate in the game. If a team does not have a coach with an ID card or there are not enough players with ID cards to meet the minimum number to play, then the game is forfeited.
- For Sectional and Area All-Star teams, the minimum play time for players is half of the match. For Regional All-Star teams, the minimum play time is 3 quarters.
- There are no play time substitution requirements for goalkeepers.
- If, for some reason, a game is not played, referees should not participate in a scrimmage or impromptu friendly game.
- If any coach is sent off (i.e. red carded) the match is terminated.
- Referees are responsible for game cards at the end of the match. The center referee keeps the game cards and submits them through Area 1C's online form.
Referee Assignments
Region 2 Assignments - Region 2 will be required to cover referee assignments for our All-Star teams. These games will be posted on the TMS website. Please sign-up to help referee. Anyone with the appropriate referee badge requirements can sign-up.
Team Assignments - The game schedule and team referee assignments will be posted on Area 1C's website. There are no sign-ups for these games. All teams are responsible for managing their referees and assignments. The program organizers will verify team's fulfilled referee assignments through the submitted game cards. Please check the schedule often as changes can occur up to the day before the match.
Misconduct
Please ensure that the submitted misconduct description falls under one of the offenses described by the IFAB Law's of the Game or it will not be accepted. In the Area 1C programs, there are no special rules for cautions/send-offs to 10U players versus older players. AYSO policy only requires that the cards should not be physically shown to 10U players.
